What's Up With Max

Max you're getting so grown up. You're so smart. You still love books and doing puzzles. You've got an alphabet puzzle and you'll grab the M and say "Max." You know so many animals and the sounds they make. We love when you ribbet like a frog. You've started to talk in sentences. You'll say "Where Momma/Dada/Oscar go?" When you don't like something you'll shake your head and say no. You're developing all these new traits. You're starting to get a little bossy. You like to tell Mom and Dad where to sit and what blankets they can use. You love Elmo. You think every screen is just a box that is supposed to play Elmo. You love sports. You can point out different sports when you see them out or on TV. You recognize specific sports by the fields, uniforms, and balls. You want to play hockey every night. It's amazing you hit the plastic ring we use for a puck straight every time. You're great about bedtime. We put you down at 8 every night. You always say goodnight to Oscar and sleep with your Gund Bear. Every vehicle is a "truck" and you love pointing every one of them out when you see one. Your car seat in dad's truck is now forward facing and you'll sit there and point out every "truck" you see. You love pushing around toy trucks. You call the "Cars" movie "Trucks". You like to strum and pick at dad's guitar so we got you a toy Mickey Mouse one. You're so excited to have a guitar of your own.

Your daycare teachers love you! Gabby and Peggy are your current teachers and they always mention or leave notes about funny or sweet things you did during the day. Just this past week they said you were the class motivator and most laid back kid in the class. We can tell they really get a kick out of you.
