Fall

Fall went by so quick. Aunt Hattie came up for a visit in mid October. We went to Dotties, which has pretty much become a tradition when a Small comes to visit. On Saturday Gus's cousin Alex was in town and stopped over with her newborn baby girl, Finley. She is adorable. We walked around downtown, and went to a pumpkin patch/fall festival. It was a great weekend but went by so fast as they always do. We appreciate Hattie making the trip up, it's always a great time having her around.

Halloween turned out to be a lot of fun. Max's favorite animal is the Ah Ah(monkey), so naturally that's what he dressed as. It was a good choice because it was a very cold night and the heavy monkey suit helped keep him warm.  We met up with some neighbors who have a girl Max's age. It was fitting that their daughter, Mazie, was a giraffe. We weren't sure if Max would really pick up on the idea of trick or treating but he caught on quick. We toted the monkey and giraffe around the circle in the red wagon. We'd get them out at each house and they'd go running up to the door and climbing up steps. Max kept wanting to go inside everyone's house.

More fall pics.

Catching some local Friday Night Lights in Monona.
