You're getting pretty clever. When we put you down at night, you'll start to bawl right away, but within seconds of the door shutting you stop and go to sleep. When dad drops you off at day care you bawl the second he puts you down, but when he leaves the room and looks back inside he see's that you're already over it and you're smiling and playing with your buddies.
You're doing great at daycare. The sweet daycare ladies are always reporting that you had a great day, although you don't seem to like to nap a lot. One of your best buds is named Rylan. Sometimes when we pick you up, Rylan comes over to say goodbye to you. We're so excited to watch you develop friendships and meet your pals.
You've started eating solid "normal" foods. You love strawberries, bananas, cheese, and avocados. You tried pizza, but it may have been too spicy and made your belly hurt. It's so fun to see you trying new foods. You make a surprised/sour face every time you try something new. It's also very frightening that you're eating "normal" food. There's always a concern that you won't be able to handle getting it down, and then there's worry that you'll have trouble later digesting it.
You're starting to walk around using your walker. You're very proud of yourself for learning how to do this. On a couple of occasions you've stood up on your own for multiple seconds. It won't be long and you'll be taking your first steps.
You are our little explorer. You crawl around the house on a mission to explore everything that is not a toy. It is so cute but we always have to keep an eye on you! We know how much you love the night lights that are plugged in.
The Oscar & Max pic didn't work out so well this time. |
