The Boys

This month has been a blur. We jumped right back into life, now with 2 kids. Will has been a great baby so far. He's very regular. He doesn't miss a feeding (every 2 hours), and he poops...... a lot. It's so wonderful to have a baby again. We could hold him and look into those big dark blue eyes forever.

Max is such a cheeseball with Will. He gets right in his face with a big ol smile and says hiyeeee hiyeeee hiyeeee. He's recently started saying Hi Buddy Boy, which is something Nana calls the grandboys. We've had to tell him not to lick Will's face, suck on Will's hands, drool on Will's head, etc. He might love him a tad too much, but we'll take it.

We did have a scare the first Sunday home with Will. Will started running a fever. We had to take him to the Children's Hospital to get him checked out. It ended up only being a viral infection, but we did have to stay over a couple nights so they could monitor him.It was a terrible and helpless feeling. We are so thankful it was nothing serious.

Not a great picture but funny story. Max has a Batman hoodie that has eye holes. When we picked him up from daycare the teacher said he kept the hood up the entire day and kept saying "I'm Batman."

Max was really into Halloween this year. He got to wear his Lightning McQueen costume a lot. Every night he wanted to watch "Halloween Stuff" on TV.

Will Ryan Small!

Will Ryan Small,

On Friday September 21st at 12:32 pm you were brought into this beautiful world. Dr Massana held you up and we saw that we had our second baby boy! Your sweet cries filled the room and we were filled with the deepest joy. The nurse brought you over to us and we got to hold you. You were looked over and certified as a healthy baby. Your day 1 stats were 8 pounds 13 ounces and 20.25 inches long.

Mimi & Pops and Nana & Papa were in the waiting room anxiously awaiting your arrival. We delivered the news and they were so happy. You broke Mimi's streak of guessing girl or boy wrong.

We got back to the room (penthouse suite) and your big brother Max got to meet you for the first time. He seemed pretty enamored with you right away. Oh, the excitement we are in for with two boys!

On Saturday we were all hanging out in the hospital room when, one by one, all of your aunts and cousins surprised us. They made the long trip up just for the night. We knew we would have to wait to introduce you to a lot of your out-of-town family. It meant so much to all of us that they made the trip.

Mommy was feeling good and we were able to bring you home on Monday.

We've been blessed with two healthy boys and are so excited about our future as a family.

God loves you Baby Will! We love you Baby Will!
