6 Months Max Man! You are developing such a little personality and are so fun to be with. Overall you are a laid back baby. You're rolling over now, and can hold your self sitting up. You love spending time on your play mat, rolling around and grabbing all your toys. You're grabbing at anything within reach. When we feed you your bottle you love to run your hand over, squeeze, pinch, and pull on our face, hair, nose, ears, dad's beard. We started feeding you Gerber baby food in the evenings. You ate and were interested in the veggies, but we just recently started with fruits and you're a lot more excited about those. You are starting to show a lot of interest in Oscar, and surely it's only a matter of time before he comes around.
Our favorite moments with you right now are before bed after being fed, when you are still awake but content to snuggle up and let us read books to you or talk and sing to you. It melts our hearts.
October was a fun month. We were able to do a lot of fun fall stuff, and the weather on the weekends has been great. As long as we pack enough supplies, we're able to go on day trips with Max and he does great. This month we had our first weekend away from Max for our friends, Billy and Jess's, wedding in Naperville IL. We had a blast, the wedding was beautiful, and it was nice for us to spend time away as a couple, but we were really excited to get home.

| Not a Halloween costume, Max had Thrush so he had to get an application called Gentile Violet which stained his whole mouth and tongue purple. |

| Nana bought this dragon costume after last Halloween soon after learning that she would be having a grandkid. Max seemed to know he was wearing a costume because he'd start acting crazy when we'd put it on him. |
