Fall Fun

 

Max Starts Kindergarten

 Max started Kindergarten at Winnequah Elementary! So far he's loving Miss Frank's class and the after school play at Parks & Rec. We try to quiz him on how his day was and what he's learned but he stays pretty tight lipped. He definitely seems like he's learning a lot and meeting a lot of friends. 

At the same time Max has also been able to play soccer and just started hockey. He loved soccer. He was on the same team as two of his good buddies and scored a couple goals. It's so fun to watch him enjoy playing team sports. 

Will is 3!

 Oh brother! Will is turning three. Will you are a wild man. You are pure entertainment. You fill our days with so much joy and laughter. 

Everytime we asked Will what he wanted for his birthday he said  "a  Christmas Tree with a big train around it"

Favorite Things to do:

-Race your hot wheel cars. You love to race your cars and you do the F1 commentary while you do it ("Lights out and away we go, this guy did this and then this guy did this, Max Verstappen is winning")

-Dance. When you're feeling it you will start groovin, sometime without any music playing. You've got some sweet dance moves. 

-Race your scooter. Racing your scooter down the driveway. You do this thing where you push off with your left leg and keep it bent in the air. You look so cool. 

Your favorite foods:

-Still hot dogs and meatballs

-The tops of sprinkle frosting donuts

-Space Juice

Florida

 After a year of pushing back vacation, we finally made it down to Florida. We had a great time. Seeing the boys fall in love with the beach made it well worth the wait. 

Our connection was delayed so we had a 7 hour layover in Chicago. This was a rough start. The above picture was from the 1st hour in Ohare. 

So happy we finally made it, the week started cool and cloudy but  the sun and heat came soon and stayed the rest of the week.

Ready for some sunshine.
